PADA is the acronym for Painting as a Democratic act, also aligned with DADA.

The artist has created a three dimensional painting of marks and sculpture that have been assembled within a window space at Arch Window Gallery in Ryde.
The public are invited to add their painted marks onto the window covered in acetate. They are then asked to take photographs of what they see and their own compositions. When uploaded the images are saved as official documentation of the project. The original assemblage is taken down after duration and all that is left is a collection of what people saw.

Conceived in a bid to increase accessibility and understanding to visual communication and forms of artwork. We understand more generally by Doing. Central to the artists work is that her work can reach a wide audience and host conversations about the place of contemporary art with local communities and talk about the place and meaning of using paint to express ideas.
