Embodied Vistas2013 - 2014
Embodied Vistas sees artists Wilson-Eflerová (Kye Wilson and Helena Eflerová) responding to the unique character of Deptford creek, using time-based media and an interdisciplinary approach that will include performance and immersive video installations.
Re-contextualising the creek history and its present role they will offer audiences an embodied experience, blurring the distinctions between place, one self and other.
Audiences will be invited to participate in workshops to create their own artistic endeavours inspired by Wilson-Eflerová's work, and these will be showcased alongside the installations exhibited at APT Gallery.
Embodied Vistas is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England and A.P.T Gallery.
