Decembers's Artist of the Month is collaborative duo Ellie Collins and Marc Renshaw who use our Vacant Space in Grimsby for their project '...Blip: a space for Art'

Singapore-based artist Joey Chin and South Africa-based artist Buhle Wonder Mbambo were the Artists in Residence at The Art House from September to November 2018. This is the first major residency and exhibition in the UK for both artists which has been co-funded by The Royal Over-Seas League.

We were commissioned by The Art House to make a film about Joey and Buhle's residencies.

More film action, this time from the Engage Conference 2018. Titled 'A Social Prescription' the conference explored the intersection between arts, health, wellbeing and education.

We're currently undertaking a pilot project with Manchester Metropolitan University and some of their final year Fine Art and Interactive art students. Titled 'Beyond the Gallery', the project will provide 10 selected students with mentoring and support in undertaking socially engaged projects and commissions. Two of the students - Imogen Millie Ellerby Sansom and Mimi Dearing - have an event taking place on 11 December. Get It Done presents: The Greenhouse will be a night of protest, activist arts workshops, talks and one big fat party.

On Saturday 15th December (2pm - 8pm) Capitol Spaces will open their doors for an exciting launch event. Capitol Spaces is comprised of ShiftSull and Rug. Facilitated by our Vacant Space programme, the three spaces kick off what's sure to be an excellent programme situated in the Capitol Shopping Centre of Cardiff. Not to be missed!

We recently said goodbye to our KTP Research Associate Dr Rebecca Senior who has left Axisweb to take up a new post as Research Fellow at The University of Nottingham.

The response to our 'Social Works? Open' has been incredible! So incredible that we've actually run out. But if you'd still like to own a copy then you can reserve one here.
